Greetings to you all in the most worthy and powerful name of our the Lord Jesus Christ,

Have you looked around recently?  The world is coming to the Metroplex. One  One look around stores and businesses reveals the explosion of immigrants into North Texas.  A great number of these people are from Asia, particularly India and its surrounding nations of Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan.  The vast majority of them are non-Christians from Hindu, Muslim, and Buddhist backgrounds.  While the Gospel may not be readily accessible to them in their homelands, it is our Christian duty to make sure that they have a chance to hear about Jesus when they are right at our doorstep.  When we reach Asians here, they will in turn influence their extended families (often in unreached people groups) back in their own countries.

The sad fact is that there are very few churches in this area able to relate to these people in culturally appropriate ways.  It takes fellow Asians who have been saved out of pagan religions to bridge the gaps between eastern and western worldviews.  International Christian Fellowship is a new congregation that is reaching local Asians for Christ and discipling them.

God has called me, pastor Ram Nepal,  to lead this congregation.  I received Christ as a high school student in Nepal in 1975.  Due to my Hindu background, I knew that persecution lay ahead in my new life as Jesus’ disciple.  Four years later I answered God’s call to full-time Christian ministry, and ever since then I have devoted my life to reaching non-believers with the message of salvation through a personal relationship with Christ and bringing them together for growth and fellowship in Bible-believing churches.  I have suffered many periods of imprisonment and physical mistreatment for my faith.  Government officials whom I got to know in prison helped give official recognition to the Christian movement in Nepal after they came to power following the 1990 revolution.  Our ministries there include the  Church, the New Life Bible College, and Christian Ministries.  We have planted over 300 churches in Nepal and have trained up many Nepalese church leaders for the next generation.  I had to leave Nepal about four years ago due to serious threats against my life and my family.

The International Christian Fellowship, which now meets in Irving, needs your financial help to continue reaching the Metroplex’s exploding Asian community.  In addition to Sunday worship services, home Bible study groups meet throughout the week to help the new believers grow in their faith.  Most of those we are reaching have very low incomes and are not able to provide the support needed to sustain this ministry.

Asian Church Plant in Metroplex

 

Exponential Growth of Asian Population in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Area:

Greetings to all our friends and churches that are in the Dallas Metroplex areas well as other metropolitans cities in usa. I am sure you have heard of the increasing number of Asian in the Metroplex through the media. The recent number quoted in the TV news was that the Indian population was up to 80, 000. India's northern neighbor, Nepal had about 1,400 people represented here. Other nations found here in abundance are Burma, Pakistan, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the people of Bangladesh. The vast majority of these people are unchurched . They come from Hindu, Muslim, or Buddhist background. Talk about a great mission field opportunity! Here is the 40/ 70 window existing right here in our own city. If we reach these people they will in turn influence their extended family back in their own country.

Mission of the Local Church

            We recognize the Church as the bride of Christ and God's primary representative in the world. Therefore, in all that we do, we seek to reach, identify, equip the unreached people of Asian countries who are in Dallas, Texas and as well as other parts of the United States of America. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the advance of His Kingdom are central to all that we do. It is our joy and duty to worship and serve him, to submit ourselves to the authority of the Bible. We place highest priority in pioneering this church planting project which seeks to draw disciples to Jesus from every "unevangelized" community, city and culture which attempts to redeem society's structures and institution. Not only must they be "translated from the Kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light," through saving faith in Jesus, but their minds and hearts must be translated likewise. Christianity is not a "religion"; it is relationship with the Living God. It is not information oriented; it is formation oriented - the formation of the Life of Christ in the obedient believer. So, in order to accomplish the great mission task before us, we are inviting your prayer and partnership, your encouragement.

Ram Nepal's Goal

Ministry Plan in weekly basis

  1. Sunday Worship Service

  2. Mid-week Bible Study and prayer meeting involving house visiting, developing cell group, visiting and praying for sick people and ministry of counselling and encouragement.

  3. Youth Fellowship, Women's Fellowship, Children's fellowship and sunday worship.

 …in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death and resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to this earth in power and glory to rule.

 …the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in Christ and His precious blood.

 …that the power of the Holy Spirit is appropriated by faith. We believe He indwells believers at salvation and that only by Him can the Christian be empowered to live a holy life.

 …that our Lord will return, the dead shall be raised, and that all shall come to final judgment with its rewards and punishments.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose death, burial, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father are the only premises for salvation (Eph.1:7; Rev.1:5); That this faith is begotten through hearing the Word of God (Rom.10:17; I Pet.1:18-25); that it is the free gift of God, wholly set apart from human works (Eph.2:8-9); that by the new birth one dead in trespasses and sins is quickened into eternal life, made righteous, justified, and is made partaker of the Divine nature (II Pet.1:4), eternally secured unto the praise of His glory.
